SUTTON MINIOLYMPICS 2004
==============================================
It's only 18 days now, till the flame is lit and the games begin!
At the last count there are eight teams for the games. There's a provisional list of teams and captains below. If one of them approaches you asking if you'd like to take part in the miniolympics, please say 'Ooh yes, I'd love to!' and make their job a pleasure.
The teams don't cover everyone in the Institute and Hospital so if you work outside these areas and would like to take part, please contact one of the captains directly, or myself. Some teams (especially McElwain) have few people to call on, and would be delighted to hear fom you.
Chemistry............................Tom Matthews (4730), Harm Dijkstra
(4696)
Eastenders (BLB east)...........Chris Stott (4274), Nadia Mudie (4693)
Big Macs (McElwain).............Jin Choong (4551), Maurizio Valeri (4204)
MUCRC................................Alan McIntyre (4138)
Paediatrics...........................Boo Messahel (4418)
Physics................................Anthony Henrys (3731)
Therapeutics........................Alastair Greystoke (4137)
Westsiders (BLB west)...........Richard Coleman (4385), Rem Talaban (4635)
There is provisional programme (see below). It's provisional, because we don't yet have organisers for all the games. I am particularly anxious to find someone to run the football and volleyball; these events can only happen if someone is prepared to run them.
I hope to finalize the timetable and make the draw for earlier rounds next week.
